The Bonfissuto Orange Easter Colomba from Pasticceria Bonfissuto is an artisanal sweet that celebrates Sicilian tradition, offering a unique tasting experience thanks to the use of selected ingredients and careful processing.
Features of the Bonfissuto Orange Colomba
- Selected ingredients: The soft dough is made with type 0 soft wheat flour, butter, egg yolk from ground-reared hens, sugar, Sicilian wildflower honey, and Madagascar vanilla beans.
- Orange filling: Enriched with candied Sicilian oranges, which give the sweet an intense aroma and a characteristic citrus taste.
- Indulgent coating: Covered with a white chocolate glaze and decorated with candied oranges, offering a perfect balance between sweetness and freshness.
- Orange cream included: The package includes a jar of spreadable orange cream, made with Sicilian oranges, sugar, and butter, without preservatives or colorants, to further enhance the flavor of the sweet.
- Natural leavening: Obtained through a natural leavening process, which guarantees a soft consistency and greater digestibility.
- Artisanal packaging: Each colomba is packaged by hand by Pasticceria Bonfissuto in Canicattì, renowned for its dedication to quality and tradition.
Ingredients
Dough: Type 0 soft wheat flour, butter, liquid butter, egg yolk from ground-reared hens, sugar, honey, fructose, natural sourdough (wheat), mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, salt, natural enzymes, Madagascar vanilla beans, natural flavors.
White chocolate coating: Sugar, concentrated butter (99.8%), cocoa butter, whole milk powder, skimmed milk powder, emulsifier: soy lecithin, candied orange.
Orange cream: Sugar, vegetable fat (coconut, sunflower, palm), whole milk powder, white chocolate 10% (whole milk powder, sugar, cocoa butter), skimmed milk powder, lactose, emulsifier: soy lecithin, flavors, Sicilian oranges, fruit pectins, essential oils.
Allergens and storage
May contain traces of eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, and mustard. It is recommended to store the product in a cool, dry place. The expiration date is 3 months from the production date.
