Some objects simply hold a drink; others change the way a table feels. MuloMerrino goblets belong to the second group. Made in Caltagirone, they combine a hand-decorated ceramic bowl with a wooden stem, bringing Sicilian craftsmanship into a contemporary table setting.
MuloMerrino and Caltagirone
The collection is rooted in Caltagirone, one of Sicily’s best-known ceramic centres. The contrast between glazed ceramic and natural wood gives the pieces a distinctive silhouette while leaving space for the colours and ornamental language associated with local ceramic tradition.
Why choose a ceramic goblet?
A ceramic goblet is not a neutral object: it becomes part of the mise en place. Each piece is decorated by hand, so ornaments, shades and the placement of motifs can vary slightly from the photographs. These differences are a natural feature of artisan production and make every piece unique.
Goblets, flutes and Special Riserva
The Sicilus selection begins with wine goblets, champagne flutes and Special Riserva tasting pieces. Ornato, Volute, Pesce, Pavone, Diapositive and other decorations offer different interpretations of Sicilian colour and ornament, from more traditional compositions to graphic contemporary designs.
Ceramic bottles for the table
A small selection of coordinated ceramic bottles completes the range. They can be paired with goblets from the same decorative family or used as individual objects for serving and display.
Made to order when needed
Many pieces may be available immediately. If a model is unavailable, it is made to order with a production time of up to 15 days. MuloMerrino creations are supplied in dedicated packaging and accompanied by a guarantee certificate.
Gifts and hospitality
The collection is suited to weddings, anniversaries, house gifts and corporate gifting, but also to restaurants, wine bars, boutique hotels and wineries looking for distinctive service pieces. Professional customers can contact Sicilus for availability, quantities and dedicated conditions.
