Cuordilava Dolce&Gabbana & Donnafugata – Etna Rosso DOC Sicilia
Cuordilava è un vino rosso che esprime la personalità vulcanica delle sue terre d'origine, frutto della collaborazione tra Dolce&Gabbana e Donnafugata. Questo vino rappresenta la qualità della viticoltura di montagna alle pendici dell’Etna.
Zona di produzione
Prodotto nella Sicilia orientale, sul versante nord dell'Etna, Cuordilava viene realizzato nella Tenuta del Comune di Randazzo e in altre aree particolarmente adatte. I terreni vulcanici, con un'altitudine tra 600 e 750 m s.l.m., offrono un clima continentale con influenze mediterranee, caratterizzato da inverni rigidi e forti escursioni termiche giorno-notte. Le precipitazioni inferiori alla media favoriscono la maturazione delle uve.

Vigneto
L'allevamento ad alberello etneo e a controspalliera con potatura a cordone speronato è caratteristico di Cuordilava. Molti vigneti sono coltivati su terrazzamenti sostenuti da muretti a secco in pietra lavica, garantendo densità di impianto variabile e rese controllate per assicurare qualità e concentrazione aromatica.
Vinificazione
La vendemmia manuale prevede una selezione attenta delle uve in cassette. In cantina, la cernita avviene su tavolo vibrante, seguita da diraspatura e fermentazione in acciaio con macerazione a temperatura controllata.
