The Dolce & Gabbana Citrus and Saffron Panettone is born in Castelbuono with natural leavening and an aromatic profile built around Sicilian citrus. Candied orange and lemon peels meet mandarin paste and the subtle note of Sicilian saffron, for a fragrant but not monotonous taste.
The Dolce & Gabbana tin completes the recipe with another Sicilian language: color, decoration, and details to be kept even after the holidays.

It is one of the variants that best tell the sunniest side of the island. Citrus gives freshness, saffron adds depth, and the dough holds everything together without turning the panettone into a simple “lemon” or “orange” sweet.

Soft wheat flour, candied Sicilian citrus peel 20% (glucose-fructose syrup, lemon peel 26%, orange peel 22%, sugar), butter, sugar, fresh eggs 10%, fresh egg yolk 6.5%, natural leavening (soft wheat flour), Sicilian mandarin paste 2.2% (mandarins 52%, sugar, glucose syrup, lemon juice), Sicilian honey, invert sugar syrup, emulsifiers: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; cocoa butter, skimmed milk powder, salt, Sicilian saffron, vanilla, natural saffron flavor.
