Sugar and Honey

We also use only organic Indian cane sugar, limited to 8%, and about 30% honey. This combination makes the nougat sweet and soft, offering a balance of flavors in every bite.

The history of Torrone Bianco del Torronificio Trapani has its roots in the mid-1800s. Today, while keeping up with the times, it represents one of the artisanal confectionery realities most faithful to tradition.

Conservation

The recommended storage temperature is 15/20 °C. In summer, we therefore recommend keeping the product in the fridge and taking it out 15-20 minutes before serving, to obtain the right consistency.

Since our products do not contain unnatural preservatives, the consistency may vary, therefore, depending on the storage temperature.

The high percentage of honey and the low percentage of sugar can influence the texture: honey tends to crystallize at low temperatures and melt at high temperatures.
