At Sicilus, we believe that every action counts. That's why we are proud to participate in the Planet program, dedicated to ecommerce companies that choose to neutralize their carbon footprint.

Each of our products, from the most luxurious gift box to the chocolate bar, participates in the program to eliminate its carbon footprint from its shipment!

We know that e-commerce shipping leaves a carbon footprint. That's why we adhere to Shopify Planet which supports innovative companies that are working to remove carbon from the atmosphere.

• Removed thousands of tons of carbon from the atmosphere
• Provided carbon-neutral shipments for millions of orders

Here's how it works:

for each order we receive, a formula is used to calculate estimated shipping emissions. Based on these estimates, a portion of our revenue goes to carbon removal companies that have been vetted by Carbon Direct scientists. These companies use those funds to remove the carbon produced by our shipments. Any extra funds are allocated to the development of additional carbon removal technologies.

uses direct air capture technology to enhance the carbon mineralization process by accelerating the rate of CO2 capture from naturally occurring minerals without the use of energy-intensive fans.

Remora

 

captures CO2 directly from the exhaust pipes of moving trucks, allocating the CO2 for long-term storage.
