The story of Fiasconaro began in 1953, when Mario Fiasconaro opened a ice cream shop in the square in the center of Castelbuono. Thanks to the brothers and, subsequently, to the children, that bar was transformed into the renowned company known all over the world, which made Sicily famous for excellence in the confectionery field. The turning point took place thanks to the intuition of Nicola, a talented pastry chef, who decided to reinterpret the most traditional dessert in northern Italy in a Mediterranean key, the panettone. Since then, the company has never stopped growing, while remaining faithful to its roots.
