Fiasconaro Sicilian Mandarins Marmalade

Fiasconaro's Mandarini di Sicilia marmalade is the result of artisanal processing of hand-selected Sicilian mandarins harvested at perfect ripeness.

Produced in Castelbuono, in the province of Palermo, the Fiasconaro company is known for its attention to quality and tradition, this marmalade offers a unique and unmistakable flavor with the fragrance and taste of Sicily's best fruits.

With no added preservatives or additives, this jam is ideal for quick snacks or for making homemade desserts.

 

Our recipes: Sicilian Mandarin Marmalade Tart

Ingredients:

-200 g short pastry -100 g Fiasconaro Sicilian mandarin marmalade -2 tablespoons powdered sugar -1 egg yolk -1 teaspoon milk

Preparation:
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Roll out the shortcrust pastry in a buttered and floured tart pan.
  3. Spread the Sicilian mandarin marmalade over the shortcrust pastry.
  4. In a bowl, mix the egg yolk, milk, and powdered sugar. Brush this mixture over the tart.
  5. Bake for about 30 to 40 minutes or until the tart is golden brown and crisp.
  6. Allow to cool before serving and sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.

This tart of Fiasconaro Sicilian mandarin marmalade is ideal for breakfasts, snacks or as a dessert for a lunch or dinner party.
