Terroir and viticulture

• Production area: This wine comes from the Tenuta Donnafugata of Contessa Entellina, in the south-west of Sicily, an area, in fact, renowned for its favorable climatic conditions.
• Altitude: The vineyards are therefore located between 200 and 400 meters above sea level, contributing to optimal exposure to the sun.
• Soils: The Franco-clayey soils, rich in nutrients and with sub-alkaline pH, therefore favor the growth of the vines.
